- “Ali” Gator Fun Day
The Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation will be
sponsoring the first “Ali” Gator Fun Day on 5/15 at Lake
End Park in Morgan City. This family friendly event will
feature many activities including face painting, space
walk, dunk tank, poker run, live auction, dancing, live
music, food booths, bake sale, games, t-shirts and much
much more. Proceeds will be donated in loving memory
of Ali Rose to be used in the research of Diffuse Intrinsic
Pontine Glioma. Morgan City Lake End Park

4 to 10pm Cooking teams needed. Come out to the Red Goose on St. Philips St. in Thibodaux and enjoy awesome food, drink and live music by "Hot Wire". Come pass a good time and help support the homeless animals in the Lafourche/Terrebonne/Assumption area.

Dr. Judi Jackson, from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, will be speaking on “Hope: The Hurts, Helps, and Handles.”
Dr. Jackson has Master's Degrees in Religious Education and Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Education from NOBTS. She teaches seminary courses in the areas of Recreation and Sports Ministry, Women's Ministry, and Ministerial Wellness. She is an accomplished writer, conference leader and special event speaker. Judi is a native of New Orleans, accepted the Lord as her Savior in 1974, and is married to Allen with whom she has two children.
