    Saturday, May 15, 2010 8:00am - 2:30pm University Baptist Church 904 Menard Street, Thibodaux, LA Dr. Judi Jackson, from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, will be speaking on “Hope: The Hurts, Helps, and Handles.” Dr. Jackson has Master's Degrees in Religious Education and Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Education from NOBTS. She teaches seminary courses in the areas of Recreation and Sports Ministry, Women's Ministry, and Ministerial Wellness. She is an accomplished writer, conference leader and special event speaker. Judi is a native of New Orleans, accepted the Lord as her Savior in 1974, and is married to Allen with whom she has two children.     The Courier presents the TGMC 5K Run for Excellence and Cajun Food Festival 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM Sponsored by the Terrebonne Foundation for Academic Excellence in Public Education. Fun Run begins at 5pm, 5K Run begins at 6pm. Food Fest is from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Registration and check-in begin at 3pm. Registration is in the courthouse square and activities following the race are held in the Belanger Street area near Whitney Bank. TFAE celebrates its 10th annual 5K Run for Excellence this year. This event has something for everyone! This year's festivities include a one mile Fun Run/Walk, a 5K Run, numerous Food Partners, children's activities, race awards and music by Souled Out.     The Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation will be sponsoring the first “Ali” Gator Fun Day on 5/15 at Lake End Park in Morgan City.
